Text Message Banking

Obtain account balances in a flash through a quick text message.

Digital Banking customers can retrieve account information simply by sending a text message from a mobile device! Banking by text message is a fast, secure and easy method to accomplish simple banking tasks. Text Banking is a free service from Hometown Community Banks; however, message or data rates from your mobile device carrier may apply.

Easily activate Text Banking through the Digital Banking [Settings] menu.

Click the [Text Enrollment] tile, enable the feature, enter the SMS Text Number, read and Agree to Terms, and click [Save].
Click [Visit Preferences] to be directed to the Manage Accounts page (the page may also be found at any time under the Settings menu).
Each account may be activated individually by choosing the account, clicking [SMS/Text], and enabling the feature; the SMS/Text Display Name (Nickname) may be changed if desired.

BAL+account nickname	provides the balance for the specified account. Example: BAL acct1
HIST+account nickname	provides account history for the specified account. Example: HIST acct1
XFER+account nickname1+account nickname2+amount	transfer the specified amount from account 1 to account 2. Example: XFER acct1 acct2 100.00
STOP	stops all further text message communications
